Jane teaches art too! If you are interested in taking one of her classes, here are the ones that are available:

Outdoor Acrylics – 2012

Place Des Arts Art Centre

Where: Place Des Arts and nearby park.
When: Sat and Sunday
Date: June 9 and 10, 2012

Experience painting outside in a relaxed two day workshop. Jane will inspire you to capture an expression of the surroundings while learning how to use acrylic paints outdoors in a quick way to complete small expressions. Bring along primary coloured acrylic paints (magenta, cyan, light yellow, white, black or brown), paper and canvas, 2 brushes (flat 1/2"-1" and round with good point). Some painting experience is helpful but not necessary. Undercover will be available on rainy days.

Private Classes (outdoors or in studio):

This painting insptruction is for all levels and focuses on personal expression. Class time will cover techniques in watercolours, acrylics and other materials. Colour theory, mixing, design and abstracting will be discussed as well as simplifying scenes from photographs. Paper and Canvas will be used while individual style is encouraged. Most supplies are provided. These colours in Golden Paints are prefered: Cadmium Yellow (lt),Quinacradone Magenta, Phtalo Blue (GS), Cobalt Blue, Raw Umber, Titanium White. Jane will give individual help as needed in this casual class. Please Call her to make an appointment.

PRIVATE ART LESSONS

$75/hour and half (including basic materials) – outdoors or in studio

Artist Talk/Demo for art groups or events: $150 and up
