Peace and Joy

Snow reminds me of peace and the bright sky joy. Today on the mountain I had a the joy of skiing along fresh snow and the peace of knowing that God Blesses us in all times. I am joyful for the peace of Christ that was born on Christmas Day and continues to manifest itself as sure as snowfall on the mountains. Jerry's Snowball

The first snow brought my son joy that grew bigger with each roll of the snowball till it was too big to roll anymore. However the satisfaction was as big as ever. It didn't need to be a masterpiece it just needed a lot of snowflakes. Perhaps its minimalism or a representation of the whole world in one's hand. In any case it's just plain fun. Christmas Lights

The twinkling of tree lights in our home today brought a twinkle in my heart for the season's family traditions. Like the colours of the days ahead each is a reminder of the brightness of the joyful light that Christ brings to all of us. With these the anticipated joy of Christmas sparkles in my heart too. This is the joy of knowing how much we are loved.
