In Line

I believe that when our will is lined up with God's then we are truly happy. To me being happy means more than having what we want and is in line with knowing and serving God. I believe He loves us dearly and provides all our needs in good and bad times; from morning to night. Blessed in Patience

Like waiting for the snow to recede or fire to burn from damp wood I was reminded of patience. When I have patience I discover grace and it seems to grow like the flicker of a spark into a warmth unexpected. God is patient with us so being patient with ourselves, with others and with God's plan is a blessing. I believe we are blessed in patience when we know where it comes from. Happy New Year

All things can be made new and it doesn't need a New Year to happen in. It can happen in a day. A resolution to change just takes a desire to do just that and if we have no desire than perhaps to look for a sign within our frozen self. Like the sandwich sign that stood out in the snow saying "New". Our hearts can be renewed: New to love, new to hope and new to serve. I believe this is what brings a Happy New Year.
