Like a Rainbow

A rainbow on the drive along the Big Island of Hawaii brought to mind Christian Unity. The colours while individual come from the same source and mingle within the body of the whole. They all radiate brightness and they join together to form an arch which seems to bridge earth and heaven; all of us come from the same white light - God's Light and play a part in His beauty. I hope that we "... don't quarrel on the way" (Genesis 45:24) and ask ourselves "what causes these fights and quarrels among you? (James 4:1). Unexpected Trials

Life may not look like what we expected or envisioned. I believe that's why God sends trials so that we can grow to know his purpose for us which ultimately makes us happy. I do not know what this is for anyone else but I can ask God what it is for me. There are millions of people that have discovered God's Grace in difficult times and I do know that it is possible to have an abundant life and love unconditionally even in such times. What is impossible for man is not impossible for God working through us. So I thank God for this time of Lent, this time of Trials, this time of Grace and this simple picture to share.
