Joy of Painting

The joy of painting on location surrounded by the beauty of nature is but a small reflection of the Joy the Lord provides in whatever we undertake in our day. I have found that in the difficulties of the day I may rest in knowing God is with me whatever I do, wherever I go and whatever I paint or don't paint. This little expression of Port Moody Rocky Point was a two hour sitting while being lost in my brushwork and in God's various forms of creation while His world and mine somehow shared time.
