Prayer

What inspires me? God does and I give Him all the Glory. It is He who sends His Spirit like a dove with the flames of his love at its tail; like in this banner I painted last Sunday for my prayer community at Holy Cross Church. I am continually amazed at how when I need to do something a prayer to heaven sends all I need to respond well in what I do. Waiting

Waiting for the sun to come out, waiting for fruit to ripen, waiting for school to start, waiting for my husband to come home, waiting for pains to heal, waiting for inspirations, waiting on the Lord - training for patience? I like to think of it as training for knowing Jesus. The apostles waited in the upper room for the coming of His Spirit. Martha had to wait for the lord to come in his time to lift her brother Lazarus from death. Mary Magdalen waited crying at the empty tomb before Jesus came to her. Waiting is a process and it must be good if the Lord wills it. If he wills it now I will wait. Wait on Him to bring a new life today and maybe even the best wine. Praise Him who loves you.
