Light of the World

A new born baby, tiny, needing its parents, hearing the new sounds of the world and seeing the light with its eyes for the first time. This one called Jesus was the Light of the world and many recognized this at his birth. Today we celebrate this loving light coming to us. Snow

Silent, gently falling, light, white without stain, and clumping together to make a blanket over the cold ground. It is like the coming of peace, the Peace of this season as we look forward to new beginnings and a New Year. The snow is just one of those gifts from God that to me remind me to slow down and embrace the moment. This moment that is good.
