Fairmont Chateau Whistler and Mountain Galleries proudly present ‘Trees of Hope’ – a silent art auction raising funds for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.

Paintings were donated by Mountain Gallery artists for this annual silent auction. All proceeds go to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, which provides palliative and respite care services for sick children and their families in BC Canada.

HARMONY FESTIVAL – ART SPEAK – Ferry Building Gallery – Ambleside, West Vancouver

AUG. 13TH, 2023 Sun. 12 – 2pm

In “The Nature of Expression” Jane Appleby will demonstrate Lyrical Expressions of the landscape, simplifying it to linear expression and invite participants in a collaborative sketch if they wish. EXPRESSIVE SKETCHING WORKSHOP –JUNE 17th, 2023 – Saturday 1:00-3:30pm – Banff, Alberta

Lyrical Painter, Jane Appleby at the Whyte Museum in Banff lead a fun art workshop during the summer exhibition “For the Birds” at the museum. She discussed art in the exhibit for inspiration, as well as led participants in exercises with pens, pencils, conte and pastels on paper to explore personal expression.

In the lobby of Chateau Whistler in Upper Village …I will be painting. Please come out and say hello, do a gesture sketch and enjoy watching me paint. An easel will be set up in the Lobby of the Fairmont – Chateau Whistler – look for it and also visit Mountain Galleries on the lower level to see some more paintings and artworks.
